What is encryption?

Encryption is the computer word for scrambling data so that it cannot be read without knowing how the data was scrambled. This makes it very difficult for any unauthorised person to take the data and unscramble it.

How do we use encryption?

Encryption occurs on your computer and decryption only occurs on the order download server within the Ezee-Fix secure office. At no stage is the order decrypted whilst it travels over the internet, or whilst it is stored on our web site. In addition, orders (including credit card details) remain encrypted until we download them into our accounts package. This means that there is no large store of orders available online to invite attack.

The credit card encryption is carried out using GeoTrust 1024 bit security. This means that your credit card details are safe, secure and private.

Still not comfortable with using your credit card over the Internet?

Here is the Ezee-Fix alternative.

• Complete your order as usual
• Once you get to the payment area of the site select the option to "Send credit card details separately". Then click on "Next" as normal. Please ensure you print out the order confirmation page, and phone or fax it to us.

Want to pay by cheque instead?

Follow the process above and mail your cheque to the address shown on the receipt. Please enclose a copy of your receipt with the cheque. Note: we will need to ensure your cheque clears before sending your order.
